You may think that new Branson shows only open at the beginning of the year. However, that is not the case for several shows which just happen to be opening next month! Five shows are added to the Branson show lineup for the fall! Be sure to check them out because these are a few you will want to plan to see during your fall vacation to Branson!
All Hands on Deck- Find this show at the Andy Williams Performing Arts Center on select dates in September and October. The ALL HANDS ON DECK! Show is an All-Singing, All-Dancing, All-American 1942 Roadshow & Radio Broadcast reproduction filled with the songs, dances and laughs that America has loved for 70 years. The show features Broadway Veteran Jody Madaras, three sparkling co-stars, the rich sounds of Branson's largest LIVE orchestra (9-piece Hollywood Victory Caravan Orchestra), classic commercials, tight harmonies, impromptu skits, and 42 of the greatest American songs ever written. This show offers a musical message for all Americans with a full-circle patriotic salute celebrating the American way of life; reminding us of a time when our country was fully united.
American Jukebox- The American Jukebox show opens at the Andy Williams Performing Arts Center in September and will be featured on select dates in September and October. The show will star the legendary vocal group, The 5th Dimension, which is known for such musical hits as, "Up, Up and Away," "One Less Bell to Answer," "Aquarius/Let the Sun Shine in," and "Wedding Bell Blues." Jimmy Osmond will join the show in October 2018.
Sons of the Pioneers- The Sons of the Pioneers found a new home for the 2018 fall season at the Shepherd of the Hills. Catch them on select dates in September and October and add a delicious dinner to go with the great concert! The Pioneers singularly built a new genre and library of music that is an American original, one that has become synonymous with the American West and Cowboy and one which keeps enthralling generations of audiences. Their show is not to be missed!
The Comedy of Jim Barber- Jim Barber has been performing for several years, many of those years here in Branson. Jim Barber’s refreshingly unique approach to the art of ventriloquism and his incredible vocal skills have earned him the reputation as one of the most original talents performing today. He presents a show unlike any your group has witnessed before, with ingenious comical characters, toe-tapping music and hilarious audience participation! You can find his show at the Shepherd of the Hills on select dates in September and October.
Yakov- Yakov is back! Fans who loved the comedy of Russian born entertainer Yakov Smirnoff throughout his expansive career on television, the silver screen and Broadway can experience the hilarity once again in “Happily Ever Laughter: The Neuroscience of Romantic Relationships.” In this new show, audience members are left in stitches as they enjoy Yakov’s insightful and laughter-filled philosophies on love, relationships and the differences between men and women. In “Happily Ever Laughter”, Yakov takes his comedy to a new level to showcase laughter’s effects on relationships and envisions a world where sadness and tears are replaced with love and laughter.
